Dear Farmin Stidwell Families,
    Wow, December already! This month brings so much excitement to staff and students as they anticipate winter break and the possibility of snow. We have three full weeks of instruction and teachers and staff are hard at work making sure learning has limited interruptions and stays focused as we prepare for mid-year academic testing in January. 

    I know that December can often be a hard time for many families with food costs, and I encourage you to complete a free and reduced meal application for your family if you haven't already. If you have experienced a seasonal layoff or hardship, you can reapply at anytime. Please call me at the school and I can make sure to send one home with your student. Along those same lines, please reach out to me if you need any winter gear for your student(s). 

   Our holiday music performance is scheduled for Dec. 18th at 9am. It will feature Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, Life Skills classes, Honor Choir, and the 6th grade band. Please see the weekly Wolf Headlines and our December newsletter (sent by text) for information about fun dress up days as count down the days until break. 

   However your family celebrates, I wish you joy and happiness into the new year. I am looking forward to celebrating with Madison as she becomes more and more interested in all things Santa and snow.
